Learning styles

Learning stylesEveryone learns in different ways. You will have heard about visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning, where people take in new information more easily through their dominant sense.

Some people like to learn things while their hands are busy, eg doodling on paper. Others like to express emotions through art materials or movement, rather than through words.

It can be easier to talk when working together on a diagram or sketch as a focus for attention, rather than sitting face to face. In that case we can sit at a table.

When we meet we can discuss how you learn best, and arrange things accordingly.

Here is a free Learning Styles Inventory which you can fill-in online.
